This was the very first hostel I applied to through Worldpackers, and I couldn 't have made a better choice. From the beginning, I felt very welcomed and supported, from planning my Trip to getting tips for my time in Arequipa. My time there went by so quickly and was one of the best experiences so far. The hostel is centrally located, cozy, beautifully designed, and has an amazing atmosphere. The tasks were fair, well organized and left me plenty of time to explore the country. Overall, I had an amazing experience and would absolutely volunteer there again!

Wow, what an experience! This was my first time volunteering through Worldpackers, and I didn't know what to expect. From the start, I was welcomed with so much warmth and immediately felt part of a community, a rare and special feeling. There's a wide variety of activities to get involved in, and I learned so much about climbing, hostels, and Peru. I had the chance to meet so many wonderful Arequipeños, expats, and travelers. Thank you, Rojo and Dom, for your kindness and letting me be a small part of this incredible project. I hope to return one day and see the hostel in full bloom!

I had an great experience at rock climbers hostal, Eduardo is a very gracious and kind host he's also very passionate about rock climbing and teaches you everything about it and gives you a lot of opportunities to practice and learn. Eduardo also speaks perfect Spanish and English making it easy for most travellers to connect with him. He gave me plenty of advice on where to go, what to eat and what to do in Arequipa. You also get your own private room and there is multiple bathrooms in the hostal, with a kitchen. The hours are very easy and flexible too. Muchas gracias Eduardo cuídate🙏🏻🙏🏻🫶🏻
