Looking for help with chores around the house including cooking, cleaning and walking our lovely dog. Help around the garden or bits of maintenance/painting. Depends on the person and the help/skills they can offer. Four older "kids" but no child care required. Oldest just moved out last week. Youngest 15. Supportive family in the same village who will also take you out as much as possible to see the area and be available if needed.

We've spent an amazing 3 weeks with the family and we really enjoyed that time. Thank you for welcoming us into your home and showing us around that gorgeous part of Scotland! It was a truly unforgettable experience with loads of memories! 😊

Living with Rachel's family for a few days was such a fun and special experience. Rachel and Trevor did everything they could to make me feel comfortable, enjoy my stay, and explore the surrounding area. Rachel made me feel very welcome in her home, always respecting our agreements and my remote work schedule. I'm very grateful for the trips, the company, the laughs, and all the moments we shared. Thank you for your lovely review. You were an absolute pleasure to host and such a hard worker! Willing to get stuck in to anything and worked so hard in the garden in the Scottish heat power washing, cutting hedges, helping dump rubbish and weeding. You transformed our garden and made a great job of the outdoor and indoor painting you did. Thank you for braving the depths of our 18ft well to weed it out and clean the walls. Nothing was ever a problem for you. We wish you all the best

My time at the home was really special. It's a small city, but being here helped me slow down and get back in touch with nature in a way I didn't expect. The house is full of life and feels so welcoming. The work felt fair and balanced, and I had plenty of time to explore all that the beautiful country has to offer. I truly felt like I gained a family. I'm leaving really grateful and with so many memories from exploring Scotland.

Thank you for your kind words Torrie and for all the support you provided to my family during my time studying. The kids say you were the best cook ever and really miss all the delicious recipes you tried out on us. We were very grateful guinea pigs! You looked after us all so well including our dog, Aila who had great long walks with you. We miss the lovely chats and the girls loved going to the gym and yoga classes with you. We spent a lovely Valentine's Day with you also. All the best

I stayed for three months at the home with Rachel and her family, and it was a truly special experience. Everyone was kind, welcoming, and made me feel at home from the very beginning. I had my own private room, enjoyed amazing food, practiced my English, and met wonderful people. Going to church with her parents meant a lot to me. I loved walking in the woods with Aila and visiting new places. Rachel was flexible, generous, and supportive. I am deeply grateful for this time and will always remember it with love and appreciation. These memories will stay with me forever always in my heart!!!

My experience with this volunteering opportunity was amazing. From the beginning, I felt very welcome. Rachel is a wonderful person: kind, understanding, and always open to dialogue. The work is calm and flexible, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. Rachel's motivation for creating this project is very meaningful and truly enriches the whole experience. I wish I had more time to continue, as it was a very positive and enriching experience. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a human, light, and well-organized volunteering opportunity.
