Join us on Gili Trawangan to care for rescued horses and ponies! Volunteers assist with feeding, grooming, handling, and stale work while supporting animal welfare. Enjoy island life in your free time. Minimum horse experience is required. Volunteers must be confident with basic horse care and stable duties. Please do not apply if you have no horse experience, as applications without experience will be declined.

The organization was an amazing and meaningful experience. It was my first volunteer project and definitely won't be the last! I learned so much about the specific needs and handling of rescued the organization, while gaining valuable hands-on experience. The organisation was super easy, Qinqin is the cutest, most welcoming host I could imagine. I always felt comfortable with the tasks and the organization I was assigned (we always decided collectively) plus there have been so many inspiring people I've met. Thanks for your incredible work and that I was allowed to be a part of it. I hope I can come back one day🫶

I had to most amazing time with the organization! Everybody is super welcoming (especially Qinqin) and you will always get help if you need it. The work with the organization was magnificent. I was able to extend my knowledge about them and how to deal with a lot situations. The daily beachwalk was always a highlight! And last but not least I met a lot of amazing people! All of that made it really hard to leave! I made lifetime memories and will never forget my time at the organization gilis (hopefully I will be back). Thank you for everything:)

Everyone was welcoming and helpful! QinQin was extremely Sweet and supportive. I got to learn so much about the life and culture on the organization T! I would come back again without a doubt!!! My time with the organization was precious and it has taught me so much about life, animals and nature. You can't get this experience anywhere, once in a lifetime!

I had an amazing time at the organization! I really enjoyed being around the organization and I learnt a lot about horse care and ground handling. I also met some great people. Being on an island surrounded by beautiful beaches is a huge plus. I would have happily stayed longer if my travel plans allowed :)

My time at the organization was such a highlight of my travels. The mornings were so magical at the beach with the organization and the turtles! The work was light in the afternoon and I learnt so much from all of the girls. It was a very wholesome, professional and productive environment to be in during my time on the island. I'd love to come and stay again! Thankyou team ☺️❤️
