One of our classroom block is in a terrible state that needs rehabilitation. Volunteers who have some skills of building and construction, fundraising resources are highly needed to rescue the situation of these children. One who is having the passion to change the lives of those in need and willing to work in a rural area is highly needed. Those interested in farming activities are also needed to support the school agriculture scheme.

We volunteered with Samuel and the school charity for 3 weeks and loved every minute of it, we truly connected with locals and the children, and felt a part of the community we stayed in. Samuel and his lovely family couldn't have been more welcoming to us, the food was amazing and authentic, and the guest house we stayed in was nice.

After my time here in Kanoni the school, I would really recommend this experience to people who are looking for a quiet rural town, to help those children who need it the most. Samuel and his family are warm and welcoming and help with anything you may need, they made our time here that bit extra special. If you are thinking of applying to this programme, from personal experience I would recommend highly.
