Looking for a caring, responsible person to look after our cat and enjoy a peaceful stay in our beautiful village near Hannover. Besides the cat, there is a bit of housework — cleaning of our two-room apartment and occasional cooking. Beyond that, your time is your own: relax, hike, explore Hannover, or work on your own projects. Depending on your dates, you might also get to help our small NGO supporting children from migrant families.

I had a great stay! The cat is adorable and such good company. The centre in Hannover is a wonderful place to volunteer: the team is really friendly and welcoming.

From the very beginning, she was very clear about the tasks involved during the volunteering experience. The work itself wasn't much, but it felt meaningful and important to me. Taking care of her cat was wonderful — the cat is sweet and very calm. Her apartment is cozy and a perfect place to relax. The train station is only a 10-minute walk away, and the nearest supermarket is just 5 minutes away. I would completely recommend her. She is kind, helpful, and guides you through everything, making the volunteering experience much easier and genuinely enjoyable. Thank you for everything 💕

Alexandra was a really well organized host, making everything clear and easy to understand. She has really interesting stories and its fun hearing her. My task were to take care of Mr. Cat, which is a really peaceful, lovely and playful cat. I also helped at the bilingual children center with taking out the Xmas decorations and helping with the spring ones. For food, you can use everything in the kitchen and you also receive money for buying other ingredients. She was really understanding and nice with me. I wish her and Mr. Cat all the best. The project she has is really important

My tasks were to keep Alex's apartment clean and take care of Mr. Cat. He was the perfect stress reliever when I was studying ❤️. Occasionally I'd help out at the school. I've made a few new friends (including Alex) with whom I've had lovely conversations with. Alex was communicative about exactly what I had to do and when. She's a very experienced volunteer host and you can see it in how she treats you. She was also kind enough to let me stay an extra night when I was stuck in town due to bad weather conditions. Overall, I had a great time and wish everyone at the school all the best!
