My stay at 1802 San Juan was an unforgettable experience! I made life long friendships and memories. Everyday is a new adventure. The work is completely manageable and simple. Carlos is such the hostess and he will make sure you are having an amazing time! I look forward to coming back one day.

I've worked in hostels before, and my experience with 1802 was wonderful. Tasks like cleaning and housekeeping were as expected and nothing beyond that. The place was very comfortable and clean. Carlos was an excellent host. Day by day, he helped us if we needed anything and took us to many places: clubs, beaches, rainforests, etc. I couldn't be happier with this experience. Thank you for everything!

My experience in 1802 was amazing. The tasks to do are really nice, nothing different than the description. Carlos is a wonderful host. He took us to road trips, beaches, places to dance and listen live music. Was so much fun. Thanks Carlos!!

Carlos is an amazing host! 1802 is a such a great hostel. All of the guests I met were super friendly and you become really close with all the girls volunteering. There is plenty of time to explore the island and do what you want and Carlos will take you on trips so you don’t have to spend money on a car or a tour. I had such an amazing experience at 1802 I would definitely come back!

Truly a life changing experience!! 1802 is a lovely place. I felt immediately welcomed and at home, the hostel seems to attract the most interesting, fun, kind and wonderful guests and staff. Carlos is simply incredible; an amazing host, very flexible and communicative, and friendly. He truly made my visit to Puerto Rico unforgettable, and I’m already planning for when I can come volunteer again!
