5 Elements Hostel Leipzig

If you want to really experience Leipzig, our Hostel is the right place for you. Clubs and Bars are really close to us and our staff can show you all of the hidden treasures our City has to offer. We are famous for our Zoo and we have loads of beautiful and swimmable lakes around the city! We have tons of festivals in our area starting with our famous Wave Gotik Meet up, and the huge Christmas Market.

Our Staff is like a really big and weird family. We welcome everyone and all of us are excited to meet new people. We all come from different backgrounds, so don't be shy :). If you should ever have a problem, you can come to us at any time!

The experience was really delightful. I had such a great time with all the volunteers and the staff. All members of the 5 elements are such lovely people, that make you feel at home. I actually extended 10 more days, because of that environment. Hannah and all the rest of the managers are both firm and chill about the volunteer task. I think the best thing i can say about my time there is that this is now the standard of a good volunteer experience

Volunteering at Five Elements was an awesome first experience! Everything was exactly as described in their info, and they stuck to the agreed-upon hours while also being flexible with time off. I met some amazing people, and overall, it was such a positive experience. I’d recommend this volunteering opportunity to anyone looking for good times in Leipzig!

My first volunteering experience was fantastic! At the Five Elements Hostel, I learned new skills, met incredible people from around the world, and explored Leipzig during my one-month stay. As a digital worker, the flexible scheduling was perfect - tasks were simple and enjoyable. The team room was spacious, bright, and comfortable. I developed great relationships with other volunteers, sharing fun moments and enjoying a collaborative atmosphere. The entire hostel team was incredibly welcoming and supportive, I'm sure will return for greet them one day!

Volunteering here has been such an amazing experience! Everything about it has been great – from the work, to the people, to the location, and even the breakfast The place is so strategically located, making it super easy to explore other areas on my days off. Speaking of which, the team I worked with was fantastic. Everyone was so supportive and fun to be around, and we had plenty of off days to explore. The breakfast was always delicious. Overall, this has been an unforgettable experience, and I highly recommend volunteering here.

It was a great experience, Hanna is very kind and she is a very good coordinator, she helps a lot to understand the dynamics and does a very good training of the volunteers. She is also flexible with the days off, which makes it very easy to travel in case you want to visit another city nearby. Additionally, the beds are very comfortable and the room is very big. Also, the breakfast included is very tasty. I had the opportunity to meet people from different countries, which was great and I would volunteer again for this experience. The work is not very hard and never exceeds 20 hours per week.
