Learning & Fun

I loved my time at A&O, the staff are very welcoming and friendly. The tasks were simple but not boring as it can be busy so the time went quickly. They give you breakfast and dinner and there are often enough leftovers for lunch as well.
Weimar is a gorgeous city, it is quiet and safe and close to many other cities to explore, such as Erfurt, Leipzig and I was able to do a day trip to Nuremberg easily. The manager was also kind enough to let me leave a shift early when I was able to get concert tickets in another city. I highly recommend this experience!!!

It was a great experience and I am very happy to have met all those extremely nice people. The working atmosphere was very good and fun as every member of the staff was very helpful and nice. Meeting other international volunteers was just another plus for the experience. The hostel is close to the Weimar city center and there is a bus stop right in front of the hostel. Weimar is a very beautiful city and there are quite a lot of things to do especially if you are interested in German culture and history. Visiting nearby cities - such as Erfurt, Jena, and even Leipzig - is also very easy.

This was my first experience as a Worldpacker and it was generally good. The hosts were friendly and welcoming, the accommodation was cosy, and the breakfast was really good. The tasks are average for any hospitality venue, and they are very respectful of your working times and your free time. I only wish there were some integration activities to get to know the other team members or to have some different things to do other than your job or just being on your own.

Weimar is such a beautiful but quiet city, though there are some other cities nearby by train that you can visit :)

My friend and I came back for a second time and it was just as wonderful as the first. The city and hotel both have a very homey feel. Nhung is very accommodating and always friendly. Neil and Mostafa gave us all the Germany travel tips we could possibly need and have turned into really great friends. Our time in Weimar wouldn't have been the same without them. Thank you again everyone !!
