Why not tell them about your music, lifestyles and world experiences and take the opportunity to learn about theirs.
Me and my boyfriend used to be a student in the Homestay so we would love to help the locals to learn English even better with our special and effective methods of learning English with the assistance of helpers from around the world. Besides teaching, during the weekends you can join us to explore the area around the Homestay such as local markets, mini park, gyms, coffee shops, convenient stores, Vietnamese street food courts, restaurants, etc and especially our beautiful city. There are so many interesting things to see such as the Independent Palace, Notre-Dame Cathedral, the War Remnants museum and even great areas for local foods like Banh Mi and Pho. Moreover, just outside the center of the city you can find the Cu Chi tunnels: The infamous and effective trench warfare and the guerrilla warfare was used during the war, the tunnels are now a popular tourist attraction and even more places waiting to be discovered.
From the very beginning Tuyen and Loc provided a welcoming, fun and amazing experience here at Alolan! The students are incredibly sweet and eager to learn, and there are ample opportunities to interact with them outside of the classroom! Getting sushi with the entire homestay was a particular highlight! Tuyen's cooking is legendary, and the environment is clean and welcoming! I, like many others here, actually extended my stay because it was so nice!

I really enjoyed my stay at Alolan Homestay. Since I stepped in I felt welcomed and part of this big family. I feel so lucky I got this opportunity to meet Tina and Loc! Both are really kind, helpful and friendly, on top of these Tina’s food is very delicious! During my stay I got amazing time visiting Cu Chi Tunnels, bowling, singing at Karaoke, eating sushi on the sidewalk, etc. I got a chance to learn about their culture, food and costume. All the students are really friendly and make you feel very comfortable. For sure I’ll be back. Thanks for everything.

This homestay is a perfect place for backpackers: an air-conditioned dorm, home-cooked lunch and dinner, reliable WiFi connection and free laundry.
Tina and Lộc, the home stay's hosts are friendly and speak perfect English. They took care of me when I had stomach ache for a week with medicines and they rescheduled my teaching classes for me to have more time to rest.
The teaching time is flexible and they have all teaching tools (whiteboard, marker pens, teaching materials) for teachers.
Recommended for backpackers and aspiring English teachers!

Alolan Homestay was like a second home to me! I felt super good from the first minute! Everyone's concern is constant, they do everything to make the volunteers comfortable and always make sure that we have a lot of fun! The students became friends! Tina cooks magnificent food, and is super sweet, almost like an older sister, as well as Loc! The 3 weeks I spent there, we went camping, night out, karaoke, bowling, sushi dinner, and a thousand other activities that they provided me and to the other volunteers!

I fell in love immediately with Alolan Homestay. The neighborhood has so much personality and charm with street food available right outside your doorstep. I cannot day enough about the amazing hosts- Tuyen and Loc are like siblings I’ve always wanted and Tuyen’s cooking is legendary. My fellow travelers and my housemates became instant family. I cannot wait to come back. Five stars. Much recommended for travelers and passionate educators.
