Balmoral Ridge

We are a 50 acre rainforest property in the QLD Sunshine Coast hinterland with gardening, rainforest regeneration, trail building and other property chores - Whatever you're interested in and capable of helping with! We also run two short stay accommodation cottages on the property so you can learn about that business and potentially contribute.

We are situated between two of South East Queensland's most popular tourist towns, Maleny and Montville - just 5 minutes from each. We have >40 acres of native rainforest to explore with a large creek and an abundance of birdlife and other wildlife.

Squid, our dog is always keen for someone to hang out with on the couch or go for walks! Gareth runs a small business and has a background in consulting while Kyla is a Clinical Psychologist.

Nearby you have the Blackall Range which hosts part of the QLD "Great Walk" hiking track, and many waterfalls and bushwalks. There are also Platypus you can spot in the Obi Creek in Maleny!

We are a family homestay. You will be treated with respect and as part of the family throughout your stay. You will be involved in a range of tasks around the property depending on your skills and preferences.
