Our place is a really friendly and cozy hostel to stay in Budapest, it's close to Citypark and Széchenyi Spa, yet not too far from the living inner districts of Budapest. We created a design and artistic place, with a very cozy decoration and lots of day light. The building is one hundred-years old house. You'll meet guests from around the world, mostly peaceful and kind travelers. We have a fully equipped kitchen where you can cook anytime you want. We also have a garden for your relaxing moments, read a book or even get together with other guests to enjoy the sunlight. We hope your stay will be the beginning of a long lasting friendship!
The team is friendly. Dayshifts are done by the manager, the receptionist and 3-8 volunteers. We help each other daily to keep the place cozy, tidy and shiny :) We are looking forward to have Backpackers as our new mates at the hostel.
I had a great experience in this hostel! the managers Adam and Richie are super nice and we had people from everywhere working with us. The shift lasts only 3h, the tasks are simple and we can choose our days off (2 every week).
We had a big room, good common areas to use, as tv room with x box and a big kitchen, and the volunteers would usually cook dinner for everyone once a week, a good way to get to know each other.
Budapest is an amazing city to live, a lot of things to do (I spent 4 weeks and never got bored!), I would highly recommend this place.

The work at baroque hostel is super chill, just a few hours in the morning between 11 am and 2 pm and then the rest of the day is free for you to visit the city and get to know the other volunteers. Both Adam and Richie are very friendly and willing to help with suggestions and also with your working schedule. You will have two days off per week that you can arrange with the managers. Nice area close to the main park and well connected to the city center:
