El mes en base camp pasó volando, ha sido mi primera experiencia de este tipo y fue inmejorable. Durante estos 30 días he aprendido multitud de cosas, conocido a gente increíble fuera y dentro de la casa y, por supuesto, escalado más que nunca.
Repetiría sin duda.

I had a fine time at Base Camp. The people were really nice and Davide is a fantastic cook! However, the environment wasn’t a fit for me. The hostel is fairly isolated and you need a car to get anywhere (fortunately usually people have at least one car rented!). I was also volunteering during the off-season, so winter volunteering would be much more lively. All that being said, if you’re a climber you will LOVE it here! There is great climbing on Tenerife, especially near Base Camp. This place wasn’t a good fit for me, but you can definitely have a great time here.

He pasado dos meses fantásticos!!
Experiencia única y maravillosa en Base Camp :)
Empecé mi viaje sin saber cómo escalar y ahora vuelvo a casa con un montón de nuevas experiencias y conocimientos.
Recomiendo esta experiencia a aquellos que les gusta involucrarse y es perfecta para aquellos que aman la naturaleza, el mar, la escalada, el surf y la aventura.
Muchas gracias Davide y a todos los voluntarios que he conocido por los momentos especiales y el tiempo que pasamos juntos, nos vemos pronto🫶🏼

You must be flexible and open to the possibility of changing situations (e.g.: place to sleep, changes of work shifts, etc.), but also be motivated to seize every opportunity to make the best use of your free time and challenge yourself with new activities!

Had one of the best times in my 5 months of travel so far. David’s is very understand but a little picky about what we cook. I can’t blame him because he supplied the food. I was there during an off climbing season and was worried about the lack of people but I met so many amazing people and friends for life as well as improved my climbing skills. We all shared the expense of the car and traveled all over the island.
