Im Nick originally from Colombia, Im just the Bassetto Manager, Francesco & Tania owns the place but they are not quite often over there. Im super quite and friendly guy. I was a volunteer for like 5 years all over the world so I know what it's like to be a volunteer. I will try my best to help the volunteers in every possible way and make them feel comfortable in Bassetto and in general.

My experience at Bassetto Guesthouse was truly incredible. I had the opportunity to meet wonderful people within my team and, without a doubt, I made lasting friendships with fellow guests. Certaldo boasts excellent transportation connections to nearby cities, making it convenient for exploring the region. Nico, the manager, is an incredibly friendly person who extended numerous invitations to exciting outings, which I greatly appreciated. My current role at the reception is both enjoyable and peaceful. I wholeheartedly recommend this place for volunteering.

Bassetto Guesthouse uno de los mejores voluntariados que tuve durante mi viaje en Europa. Realmente me sentí como en Casa, es un lugar tan encantador y lo mejor fue que tuve experiencias inolvidables con mis compañeros voluntarios y Mateo.
Certaldo se quedó en mi corazon, al igual que negrito y Pitufina los perritos de Bassetto.
Nico es una excelente persona de un corazón enorme, gracias por ser un amigo y de inspiración para mi, no se diga esos tips viajeros. Gracias por todas esas platicas, risas y tiempo que pasamos contigo.

This was such an amazing experience. As someone on their first solo travelling trip, I could not recommend this enough. The landscape is absolutely gorgeous. The other volunteers and manager were so welcoming and friendly. I know that I made great friends. The manager was so nice, he helped me as much as he could with anything that I needed with. He was accommodating and a fair manager. The work at Bassetto while at times challenging overall was a very relaxing and easy job, giving you lots of time to explore Tuscany. I made some unforgettable memories here. I would highly recommend

My time at Bassetto was a very special time! The volunteers are treated very well and are made to feel at home. Nick is a great manager and is very good to the volunteers. If you need to learn anything new or you make a mistake he will always be there to help. The environment at Bassetto is very social and warm which means that you will meet lots of new people and experience the amazing culture of Italy! Bassetto is located in a truly beautiful place which makes you feel lucky to be there. Overall, I would always recommend Bassetto to any volunteer or guest for a memorable,charming experience

Amazing experience and I recommend 100% percent. It’s a safe space and the manager makes you feel confortable if you have any problem, he’ll always try to help. The work is not hard to do and you have the rest of the day to yourself. The volunteers have been amazing and Bassetto has a great community. I feel very lucky of this experience. It’s the perfect place to relax and get to know people from everywhere in the world.
