Bio Coliving Tayrona

Because your stay will be sustainable, you will be able to learn from the local culture, farming, fish, and plants, and be at the entrance to Tayrona!

Experience Tayrona, the pool experience, aquaponic crops, and bioconstruction infrastructure.

This Coliving brings you the opportunity to work and volunteer at the same time.

The team is made up of lawyers, a chemical engineer, biologists, and a PhD in Marine Sciences.

Occasionally Indigenous people from the Sierra Nevada descend with their ancestral wisdom, and many researchers and students also come for internships.

It was an incredible place to start in this world of worldpackers. I met cool people from other countries and new cultures. The place is beautiful, very welcoming, and it lets you stay connected with nature, and it's a good location to visit Tayrona National Park.

As with the other comments, Juan and Lucy are a very welcoming team. The activities involve manual labor, usually related to cleaning and maintenance, but they can vary during the day and the amount of work is flexible according to your availability and your willingness.
One point to note is that, being close to everything, it isn't really that close; it's wise to plan ahead to always catch the bus. Overall, it was a great volunteering experience.

Biocoliving is ideal for those who want to know the site. The activities are mostly hands-on. The place is a bit far from the center (about 20–30 minutes), and you'll need to take a bus to access markets (about 5 minutes by bus), restaurants and experiences in Santa Marta.
