Chateau Duviella

We are a very sociable, family home, with many volunteers, children, dogs which makes for a fun and relaxed environment. We do all work hard during the day, which makes the relaxation time even sweeter at the end of each day.

Volunteers and guests are treated respect, each volunteer is given a list of projects and task for them to do during their stay with us and it is their own responsibility to manage their own time. We provide a comfortable home, good food and relaxed company and in exchange we ask for your motivation and time.

So happy this was my first Worldpackers experience! Faye was very welcoming and kind to me :) Most of my work was pulling weeds and it was nice to be outside in the sunshine. The place and nearby town was pretty quiet but there were lots of nice walks to do. Very beautiful scenery🤗

I had a great experience volunteering at Chateau Duviella. Faye was an amazing host, very warm and welcoming. Tasks were well-explained, and working hours were respected. I definitely recommend it!

I had a great experience at the chateau and highly recommend! Everything was as expected work-wise. I started work in the morning, but I could have started later if I wanted to. Hours were flexible as long as I worked at least four hours a day. The accommodation was also really nice and the food tasted great. But the best part about the experience were the other volunteers and all the free time we got go spend together.

We really enjoyed our time at Chateau Duviella! The French countryside is beautiful, as was the Chateau. Some of the highlights were family-style dinners with the family and all the volunteers, and cuddles by the fire with Scratch and Sam! Faye was really responsive before and throughout our stay and she made sure we had everything we needed. As a remote worker, sometimes the wifi connection was unreliable especially during stormy weather. Faye expects hard work and progress with your tasks, so be ready to put in the time and effort!
