I had a great time at Cinnamon Sally’s! My coworkers became family and sharing that bond made the experience all the more special. I would definitely recommend this hostel if you’re hardworking, social, and love karaoke!

My first experience ever in a working exchange was awesome at Cinnamon Sally’s hostel. I felt like at home thanks to Christian, Tina, Sabine, Agnese and the rest of the staff. The place is so cozy and comfortable that I stayed most of the time hanging out in the common areas with the other volunteers and travellers, with which I also shared many experiences around the city and in the natural and green areas outside of Riga! This adventure was beyond my expectations and I will definetely come back to Latvia:)))

I have found a treasure on this hostel, an amazin' place to stay and volunteer. Location couldn't be better, tasks and free days are respected, and the staff is always open for anything u need, u will be part of a great team, trust me.
I find no words to express how grateful I am for everything C.S. did for me and how amazin' my experience in Riga was mostly thanks to the help I received.
Any bad thing? The moment u have to say goodbye... so here I am missin' it while writin' this review and hoping u, the one readin' this, will enjoy as much as I did.

Cinnamon Sally was a great place to spend a few weeks. Very cozy family style hostel atmosphere with nice people. The hours are what you would expect, but I wish there could have been multiple volunteers working together on each shift to make the work more manageable, in general the staff and volunteers are spread pretty thin. But overall I had a good experience and would recommend CS. Riga has perfect placement to access to all the Baltic regions and is a great city itself to explore, I have tons of great memories from my time here :)
