Coolangatta YHA

We are a cosy surf hostel located on the beautiful southern Gold Coast, right across the highway from the beach and just a 7 minute walk from the Gold Coast Airport. With plenty of lovely shops and restaurants close by, not to mention Bilinga Beach just 5 minutes walk away and a 24 hour bus service across the road, we are in a truly great spot. Though please keep in mind that it's a 7 minute bus ride (or 20 minute bike ride) into the town center from here. Coolangatta is famous for its amazing surf breaks, beautiful beaches, funky restaurants & bars and breathtaking natural scenery. It's truly one of the most beautiful places in the country, come and live like a local with us!

The owners of our epic little hostel are Ebonie, Erin & Blair and we have 3 other wonderful staff members working with us - Tomas, Ana and Tessa. Our "Volunteer for Accommodation" crew usually consists of about 6 people at one time and it's like being a part of a mismatched nomad family! We do our very best to make everyone feel comfortable and welcome and to show you all a good time! If you get another job or you just want to go on an adventure for a few days you just need to let reception staff know and we'll try our best to work around you :) We're pretty laid back, the Cooly YHA is both a fun and relaxed place to work but we do expect you to put a fair amount of effort into your work, the job you do here is really important to the daily running of our hostel, do right by us and we'll do right by you :)
