Doña Rose
Our place is the new kid on the block. If you want to have the full adventure of seeing a new hostel develop and bring in a lot of your ideas, this is the place for you. I want to create a unique experience in this beautiful apartment for guests and volunteers to become one big family. Lets exchange ideas and get this project started!
As soon as you come in you will become part of the family. Everyone will be treated with respect and kindness. This should be a safe space and comfort zone for everyone and a place like home for volunteers. We currently have a dog living there as well so be aware in case of allergys!

DO NOT VOLUNTEER HERE.
These women are feminist and extremely demanding and unpleasant to be around. They threatened to call the police on guests in front of me and they are disrespectful and rude. The hostel has a terrible smell and they are not welcoming or friendly people. I have traveled almost every city in Spain worst experience of all of them.

The place is really lovely and so are the people! I was welcomed very warmly when I arrived and everyone was so nice.
The working hours were respected and the tasks very easy. You had a lot of free time to explore Gran Canaria.
I sometimes felt a bit left out since everyone spoke Spanish except for me but they still tried their best to include me.
If you’re looking for a chill place with nice people and amazing weather then this is the place to go!

Ayuz es muy amable y practica a la hora de explicar las tareas a realizar, flexible en cuanto seas comunicativa con ella para cambiar horarios por si quisieras visitar algun lugar de la isla, tambien muy divertidas con Estefi :)
Muy buen grupo de voluntarias tambien durante mi estadia, la ubicacion del hostal es muy buena, super cerca de la playa!

I had an amazing time volunteering at this hostel! The tasks really manageable and didn’t take much time, leaving a lot of time to enjoy the surroundings. Ayuz and Estefi were incredibly kind and made the experience even better. They were always there to help and made sure I felt comfortable and welcomed throughout my stay. It was a great place to for my first Worldpackers experience.

Mi experiencia a Doña Rose ha sido muy agradable. Ayuz y Estefi son muy amables y easy-going. El entorno del hostal es dinamico y muy interesante, hay muchísimas ocasiones de conocer personas nuevas y internacionales. Las tareas son simples y dejan mucho tiempo libre para visitar la isla. Lo recomiendo! :)
