Located on Korcula, one of the most beautiful islands on the Adriatic coast, we believe in one thing: island time and island life. Whether you are looking for a perfect place to relax & chill with family and friends or take a more active approach to your holiday work time, Korcula and Dragan’s Den hostel is the place to make it happen.
We consider ourselves to be a high-end backpacking retreat and offer many facilities. With free WIFI, air conditioning, common rooms, private rooms, and a fully equipped kitchen, we are also a family-friendly and No Age restriction hostel – everyone is welcome. Our friendly staff is always available to assist you with anything- just ask, and we will do our best to help you out, making sure your stay is as carefree as possible with safety and security as our top priorities.

Being there during the end of the season made the situation and the work to do calmed. Everything was as we agreed.
Dragan wants everything to be perfect and everyone to follow the rules. Anyways if you are flexible with him and the job he will do the same for you.
You have to sleep in a mix dormitory with new people every night, so this can be uncomfortable. And some things in the hostel should be changed as they are quite old.
We had a good experience and we recommend it.

As it was at the end of the season (September) the work to do was not overwhelming and the situation in the hostel was more calmed.
We have realized that Dragan likes everybody to follow hostel’s rules, and expect from voluteers to be self-motivated. If you are flexible with the job and even with him, he will do the same or more for you!
Everything that is offered is respected (accomodation, food and timetable)
The negative things we found were that you sleep with other guests in a mix-dorm, with no lockers and that some things are too old.
We recommend it.

Si bien la isla es preciosa y se cumplen los horarios de trabajo, la experiencia se ve opacada por la convivencia con el anfitrión.
Se te asignará una habitación compartida, no solo con otros voluntarios sino también con huespedes. De ser necesario tendrás que moverte de habitación al (luggage room), por la sobre venta del hostal.
El funcionamiento del establecimiento depende única y exclusivamente del personal voluntario, sin nadie contratado para la labor y con instalaciones sin haber tenido mantenimiento en años, hace del trabajo algo poco higiénico y miserable.
No lo recomendaría.

El lugar es precioso y hay una playa perfecta y puerto a 5min.
En el hostal hay muy buen ambiente con los viajeros.
Por la parte del anfitrión, no podemos decir lo mismo. El trato varía dependiendo de la persona a la que se dirija. Tiene comentarios muy fuera de lugar. La higiene no es su punto fuerte, tanto con el hostal como consigo mismo.
En cuanto a las tareas, sí que ha cumplido los horarios, aunque a veces sus maneras de pedir las cosas no eran las correctas.
De noche desaparece comida a la que solo tiene acceso él, y al comunicárselo, se altera.
La experiencia ha sido buena en general.

The management does not recommend this profile and their colleges for any serious job. Not reading house rules and the worst case not respecting the rules. Our rules are strict and written in every room.
On another side a very fun atmosphere for 24-hour party places. Good 2d graphic designer skills which is recommended.
