Echo Beach is one of best backpackers hostels on the island. Our beach bar and restaurant is famous on the island where locals like to hang out. At night we like to party! Great house music - the best on the island - spin the wheel for free drinks, join in our drinking games or just chill with your new friends until the major parties start around midnight. We even have a in-house tattoo artist and Yoga on the beach every morning
We work together like a family in Echo Beach. We work, party and experience together and we help each other were and whenever we can! Our beach bar and restaurant is famous on the island where locals like to hang out. So it's super easy to make new friends

Echo Beach Hostel was honesty the most amazing experience! Mark was the kindest and friendliest host who would treat you like family rather than a staff member. The permanent staff were also super welcoming and I have created life long friendships that I will dearly miss. The shifts were completely reasonable and we’re rotated between night and day so that you could have a mixed experience exploring the island or getting free entry to Koh Phangan’s famous parties! I loved this volunteering experience and would recommend to anyone!

Working at Echo was an absolute delight! The vibrant atmosphere, breathtaking beachfront views, and amazing night-life made it an unforgettable journey to say the least. I had a wonderful time in Echo Beach! The team was just great! I take so much away from this experience as a bartender and reception. We always had something to do and still were able to spend time with the guests on our own time and have fun. The hours were ok, I would maybe adjust the hours a bit to morning shift and afternoon shift, because in the evening there were too many behind the bar. Otherwise, everything was top, will definitely come again and can recommend this hostel to any traveler who likes to party, work and just want to have a good time. Thanks, lots of love to all of you!
