Travelers will learn how to take care of the horses and how to gain peace of mind by living in the countryside. How grateful the animals can be when are taken care for and just by being on a beautiful island of Cyprus. Also, we can help you learn Greek and show you what Cypriot culture is about.
Come and experience life on a beautiful island of Cyprus on our small horse farm. This is a small farm run by a welcoming host who has a great knowledge of horses and love of this beautiful island of Cyprus. There are horses, dogs, cats, donkey, pony and a Blue and Gold Macaw. We are organizing a place and hopefully with your help we can make the farm rise. We organize trail rides throughout the year, as well as camping and trips to the beach. The main city is approximately 12km away from the farm. We have fun almost every day with the animals and would like to show you what a great place we have.
It was a good experience, the place is beautiful the work you need to do it's not hard and if you dont know how to do it they'll teach you. You can tell what type of food you want or if you have any specific diet and it would not be a problem. This place is perfect if you love horses and animals. you can ask for anything you need and they will sure help you. I recomend this place a lot.

It was with sadness that we said goodbye to our wonderful exceptional volunteer, Giovanna Montealvo, who has worked tirelessly and showed amazing horsemanship, smiled at everyone and loved horses so much, as she would even spend time laying down in the paddock with her favorite one - Sahara. Her passion and positivity were loved by all of us! Thank you, Giovanna Montealvo, for everything you have done! We wish you all the best in your future endeavors! We hope to see you next summer! With love, Elveko team!
It was difficult to find out what my roles and responsibilities were, the position was advertised as horse care but he needed a cafe and kitchen hand. There was no time with the horses. I washed a horse once because I asked to, although advertised on their page- there was no free riding tours. The host unable to agree on days off and work day hours. The accommodation was freezing with old bedding, the shower was outside. Once they define the role and what they are able to provide to volunteers this could be a good position.
