Our time here was wonderful! I wish I could have helped more. The manor was beautiful, It was crushing to see it like that. The place and it's surroundings is still charming though. We helped with the gardening and got to see lots of fireflies and interesting things. The people was so kind, even when I had an emergency they were really supportive and helpful. Really recommend this place, it has so much potential and I hope it keeps accepting volunteers to help with its restoration!

The host wasn't in the residence and the person who he told me was on charge, just say hi and then leave me with another person that only told me they didn't know I was coming there, so I feel so uncomfortable 'cause I didn't want to feel unwelcome and meake anyone uncomfortable either. Besides, nobody never told me which are my responsabilities there, so I feel bad for that because I wanted to be useful there.

I am very sorry that this experience made you feel uncomfortable. I have realized that in the aftermath of our fire we are no longer in a good place to welcome new visitors so I have stopped accepting applications. I hope that you were able to salvage a positive experience from the rest of your trip.

It was my first volunteering experience and I liked it very much! Everybody in the manor is very freindly and willing to help.

I had a good experience, I felt comfortable and safe at all times, I got to know the surrounding community and I was able to practice English.

This was a great first experience for me with worldpackers, the people were very welcoming. They all had just gone through a fire and everything was a bit in the air, I think the many goal for me was to bring a little bit of orden and peace in daily tasks in the midst of the caos.
