Close to Konkuk and Sejong University. There are a lot of young people in the neighborhood and shops and restaurants are cheaper than any other University areas in Seoul.

I'm Jeong-Yoon, the manager here. I grew up in Europe for some time and speak English as my second language. I am very much used to working with foreigners and I promise to provide a safe place for visitors to make them feel like home :)

This was such a fun experience, everything was exactly as described! Yoon was a great host/boss, he always made sure our dorm was stocked up with food (eggs, ramen, bread) and tried to keep the dorm clean by assigning cleaning duties every week. The work itself was really fun too, you spend 4 hours at the studio (either 1-5pm or 6-10pm) and it's split in 4 sessions, so you would max talk to 4 students a day. Usually I'd only have 2-3 students so it was chill. I had a really great time talking with the students and getting to know them, some of them I have even become good friends with!

Wow! Where do I even begin with this experience! I had the most amazing time at the language studio with the students, Yoon and other volunteers. Kondae and all the students I met will always have a special place in my heart for me. I’ve learned so much about Korean culture after connecting with some of the most lovely people here. Yoon is such a kind, amazing and helpful host as well. I left Korea making some of the most beautiful connections with people all over the world (and in seoul as well!) I am dreaming of the day I return to Seoul! I could not be more grateful! Thank you so much!!🫶🏼

My experience at the Language studio in Kondae was more than great. :) The position was exactly as described & no other job was ever this fun & rewarding. Through the conversations that you have with the locals you do not only learn a lot about the culture, but you also get to make friends & learn all about the best spots to visit in Seoul. The atmosphere in the studio is always very comforting & I can promise that you will feel at home. :) Yoon is a very accommodating & helpful boss that will always do his best to make sure you have a great experience while you're staying there.

I had a really great stay here! The other volunteers were very nice and welcoming, and the work was fun and really interesting. I really enjoyed talking with the Korean students, they gave me many good recommendations for places to go visit or eat, and I really liked getting to know more about Korean culture and their backgrounds.

The appartement is small but I didn’t mind it too much. It’s very close to the studio and to the subway, and since you get much free time you can very easily explore the city. The host is really nice and helpful, so thank you for the amazing experience Yoon! :)

This was such an awesome experience!! Yoon was super chill and very flexible. He didn't ask for too much of the day, so I was still able to explore Seoul and the local area - he even gave recommendations based on what I said I liked to do!! The studio environment was very comfortable and I met so many cool people, several of who I am still in contact with even though my stay in Kondae has ended. I even now miss talking everyday with my students. I would definitely recommend to someone who is looking to make friends from other countries and experience local Seoul!!
