Flying Pig Beach Hostel
The Flying Pig is well known for being a social end laidback hostel in the Netherlands.
For over 18 years people from all over the world find their way to the dutch coast to enjoy a stay in the Flying Pig Beach hostel. The biggest reason to come to the Beach is to meet like minded people and make friends for life. Year after year we have backpacker teams brighten the place up with their travel spirit and experiences. Come and stay with us and we will make sure you will have the best stay in your life, believe me :)
The hostel is run by Ben Milam, a young manager from Britain and well traveled, we work with a core staff that work under contract and a team of volunteers that help on daily tasks. Because one of our core values is equality we treat everybody with the same amount of respect and try to motivate everybody to get the best out of themselves. We give people a lot of freedom and motivate them to take their own responsibility to make their stay and their job a succes. Staff eats everyday together and can enjoy them self's in our lively bar in the hostel.

Staying at the Flying pig was a lovely experience. Hostel is very cozy and you have the opportunity to meet many locals which doesn't happen often in hostels. Ben is a great manager and an amazing person, work hours are always respected and you can always talk to him about anything you might need. The vibe of the place is different from other hostels I've been to because of other volunteers staying for a much longer time than one month so I would recommend coming here for longer.

El equipo de STAFF y el manager crean un espacio de trabajo y convivencia súper cómodo y agradable. Las instalaciones están muy bien y el ambiente del hostal es muy divertido y tranquilo.
The Flying Pig Beach Hostel te brinda la oportunidad de adquirir experiencia laboral diversa rodeada de compañeros (y el manager) amables y flexibles y comprensivos siempre dispuestos ayudar, además de conocer gente de la ciudad y de todo el mundo pudiendo tener tiempo para descubrir el país.

this is the best place ever! it was my first volunteering experience and it succeeded all my expectations ✨ ben is a great host and all the staff is amazing, kind, welcoming, loving and caring people. i will never forget this month in the flying pig and i'll definitely won't forget any of my piggies!! i for sure will come back, this is like my second home💐💐 love you so much guys thanks for everything!!!🖤🖤🖤

An unforgettable experience!
It is definitely a place I want to return to. The people who work at the hostel are wonderful, as are the locals in town. Ben, the manager, is always very kind and friendly. I definitely recommend it, a place where you feel at home outside of it.

Thank you piggies! It was a pleasure to stay with you and I really had fun and met so many people! The time of the year wasn't the best, especially the covid situation made it a little harder, but fortunately i had a great team to spend my time with.
I absolutely recommend this esperience and this hostel of course. Great place, great locals and great atmosphere.
