Without a doubt, I highly recommend this place! The hostel is fantastic—clean, cozy, and located in a prime spot. From day one, Beta was incredibly welcoming and genuinely kind, making me feel like part of the team immediately. They went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed. Also, it’s a fantastic opportunity to connect with international travelers and coworkers! The work itself is fun, straightforward, and super flexible, allowing plenty of free time to explore the city and even other nearby areas. Absolutely loved my experience—10/10!

What an incredible experience❤️ I found a home away from home at Friendly Hills, much thanks to the wonderful manager Beta. Everything was perfect from the room to working hours and the team dinners are such a nice idea! You will have the experience of a lifetime here, if you get the chance to volounteer at Friendly Hills don’t hesitate :)

Without hesitation, I can recommend this place to everyone with a warm heart! The hostel is amazing, clean, located in the best area. Our host, Beta was the most welcoming, kind person I’ve ever met, I felt like part of the team from the very first minute. She was really helpful with everyting. I also met amazing people there, it’s a great chance to meet international travellers/volunteers, I made great friends there:) The work is super easy and fun, also really flexible! I really enjoyed the work too, and we had plenty of free time to explore Lsibon, and even other cities. 100% recommended!

I couldn t have asked for a better first worldpackers experience. The best decision i have ever made was to choose to volunteer at friendly hills! The work is easy, fun and you have a lot of free time to explore lisbon. Beta, the manager is the kindest person, a true friend!! I met so many amazing people and i cant wait to go back!!
