My time at the Friendly Hills Hostel was so wonderful. It really became a like a Home for me. The tasks are easily understood and can be a lot of fun too, if you have questions Beta will always help you! She is so welcoming, funny, lovely and always there for you. It was my first experience with worldpackers and I can really recommend going to the Friendly Hills, you will make friends among the guest and the other volunteers, like a small family, lots of happy memories. And you have a lot of free time to explore the city also the location of the hostel is great!

My experience at Friendly Hills has been great!
I really got along with the other volunteers and we hung out together often.
The hostel is not that big but I still enjoyed chatting with some guests. The hostel itself is very cozy and well located.
Working hours were always respected. You'll have a lot of time to explore the surroundings of Lisbon.
Beta, the manager, is so nice and welcoming; she will help you with everything and make your stay even more enjoyable!

It was a great experience staying at Friendly Hills. This was my first worldpackers experience and this hostel was a great fit for it. Beta, the manager, is an amazing human being who really cares about all the volunteers. She accepts everybody with a big warm hug and gives you the feeling of home away from home. Work schedule is well organised and can also be flexible if you ask to change shifts. Work is fun and enjoyable. What I loved about this place were dinners, where all the volunteers would gather together after the whole day. You could just sense the good atmosphere of this place.

What an amazing 6 weeks this have been! I am so grateful for this beautiful experience.
Beta was an amazing host, such a beautiful soul. She was so welcoming and kind towards everyone she encountered! Bosslady!
I learned so much about myself and life. I really connected with the other volunteers and have made alot of beautiful memories. I will always remember our dinners and late night walks.. 🤍🌍🌸
