We live in a house of over 135 yo. We try to make it more and more energy effecient/neutral. Love having guests. And people can stay longer if they helpout a bit in the house. This is offcourse dependend on the situation in what. The Garden is my playground as a landscapers and probably trying out several things once in a while. Making it more and more a bit of a foodforrest like garden with more edible plants and creating more and more habitat. Bit of a progress, but slowely trying out we get there. As there is a lot of work, its always welcome for a bit of help so we can still enjoy it a bit too. Also we got some animals. 2 rabbits, a few chickens, a freedom loving guinea fowl and a 3 funny indian runner ducks. We love getting some more or other animals maybe one day, but we have to see.

My parents also live here and we have done couchsurfing several times. We live in a big house and have space for travelers. -------About me...------------------------------------------------------------ Hmm. Adventurous, like to try new things, and open to learn anything new as well like to teach. There is many things I like and like to do. But most of them have often something to do with nature and health. Maybe because lot of my time I have spent doing speed skating/sports and working as an Arborist and Landscaper. I love traveling, and I think its in the family, as I traveled pretty every year with my parents when they had holidays. I also lived a few times in the UK for couple of months for traineeships and even studied arboriculture there. And went to China for a couple of days for an Ecoutourism advise project. But my first solo Journey was New Zealand. And not just standard backpacking like most do, but traveling around on a Motorbike. And also 3 weeks of motorbike traveling in North of India. My interests are wide ranged, and as I said before I like to learn. For now I mainly like to learn about permaculture, plant medicine, yoga, motorbikes, latin dances and just adventure stuff or just any interesting thing coming by. My wife is a traveler too. She been all different places and traveling mostly by hitchhiking or motorbike. She is born in Kazachstan(Soviet Union Time) moved from there every time 2000k's in Russia before ending up in the Netherlands with me. She studied documentary filmmaking and works as a online language teacher in English and Russian with a speciality Aviation English. Thats English for pilots. Her interests are pretty much the same as me plus that she is a Die Hard Irish Dancer for over 10 years. Very open minded and Exremely curious! For the rest of the house there are my Parents that hang around and love talking and taking care of guests and my younger brother with his girlfriend. -----------INFO--------------------------------------------------------------- We are near 'knooppunt' number 66 Sometimes you can join us for dinner, but that depends on the day/time etc of arrival and what we do at the moment and the same for breakfast.
