For our volunteers we absolutely recommend visiting the nature trails surrounding, where you can bike or hike. For your days off we suggest visiting places such as Rijeka, and Opatija and their gorgeous beaches. During your stay, never hesitate to ask me for recommendations. You'll have plenty of time to explore while you're here

We have only four employees that have experience with volunteers and we are relaxed. As a team we work for 10 years and managed a lot of guest.

As my first volunteer experience, I wouldn't have had it any other way! Emilijan and Marina are lovely people, as well as the women who work there. Very easy tasks and respectable hours. Fužine is a beautiful place and I highly recommend this experience.

I had a good experience. The work is not hard, could be making beds, doing dishes, helping in the kitchen and with the laudry. Everybody was friendly, all the food was provided. Fuzine is a beautiful place.

Siguiendo con el comentario de Ari.
El staff debería al menos crear un vínculo laboral sano si no se tiene la voluntad de crear un vínculo más profundo.
Ninguna de las empleadas habla inglés y la comunicación fue a base de translate y señas.
Nos dejaron 5d solos en el hostel sin dar detalles ni instrucciones de cómo manejarnos por segurid/necesidad.
En ningún momento hubo interés por parte de los dueños de saber si necesitábamos algo.
Situaciones como esta se repitieron a lo largo de toda nuestra estadía.

Positivo: flexibilidad, instalaciones en buen estado y buena experiencia en hostelería.

Such a sad story for so called first time volunteers. We had over 50 volunteers and everything was great. We kept you despite your behavior, demanding spoled. needs. We gave you space to stay, enourmus amout of food. And you disrespect everything
No worth mention more.

Lamentablemente no fue lo que esperábamos, parecía que no nos esperaban y que no sabían muy bien qué hacer con nosotros. Se presentaron situaciones incómodas donde no sabíamos qué hacer o esperar, el Dueño nos decía una cosa y la Dueña nos decía exactamente lo opuesto. 3 puntos a mejorar:
Aprender a organizar las actividades de los voluntarios para que ellos puedan planificar su tiempo y días libres. Aprender a comunicarse con los voluntarios de una manera correcta y respetuosa sobre cuáles son las tareas, cómo se deben realizar y en qué horario. Tener actitud positiva para con los voluntarios

Please for your good, respect other people property and the way they work. You are not better, smarter then others although you behave and think that way.
I had many many many volunteers and everbody was happy here.

This was my first hotel volunteer experience and it truly was the best. Emilijian and Marina really are incredible hosts, they made me feel at home from the first day, in addition to the two girls who work there, they really taught me with patience and love, everyone was very attentive and the hotel is beautiful.

Marina cooks deliciously. All the tasks are easy to do and the hours are always respected, you will have time and privacy for yourself, I can assure you.

This place will always have a special place in my heart, I love you very much Fuzinarska kuca. See you very soon in Peru <3
