This was my first worldpackers experience and it was mostly fine. The work was ok. The host expects a high level of respect for himself that he doesn't extend to other people. I was scheduled to leave on Sun. On Fri he asked me to leave a day early, and then asked me Sat morning to leave the house hours before my bus and wouldn't give me a ride to the bus station. I think he is only hosting to convert people to his religion and loses interest in you being a guest once you lose interest in his religious beliefs.

No Catherine, i lost interest because you were so much energy to deal with and were more focused on having a vacation than actually helping. The last two days i worked all by myself while you were watching movies or whatever you were doing and thus I asked you to leave early . ive had a lot of volunteers and on a scale from helpful to narcisisstic you were on the very natcissistic side. I dont think you are in a position to judge anyone dear. Good luck to you.

Had a great time! Learned a lot and got to experience a lot of cool things. Seeing the Grand Canyon and exploring Flagstaff were a blast. I would definitely recommend staying for the full length as there’s a lot of cool things to do. Would do again!

It is a really amazing experience staying in Billie's house. We did some house building work including ceiling setting, concreting, painting and so on. Billie taught me various useful skills.
We went to the Grand Canyon and Sedona together on weekends, and I enjoyed the marvelous sceneries, Billie's talent in music and his humorous guiding and talking. It is a good chance to have a taste of mountain area in Western America, get close to the nature and our spiritual world.
