Grand View Hostel
Here at the Gran View Hostel, we provide lodging for hikers and backpackers from all over the world! We love eating communal dinners together, stargazing, art, exchanging culture and languages.
Josh and Kylie love hosting and meeting people from all over the world. After many years in the hospitality business ourselves we decided to create our own. With our world class knowledge of the Grand Canyon we found the perfect place for us, only 25 miles away! Come take sunny days, high mountain hikes, beautiful canyon hikes and experience all that northern Arizona has to offer!

My first Worldpackers experience at the Grand View Hostel was incredible! The place truly felt like a home away from home, thanks to Josh and Kylie, who ensured we had everything we needed. The work included housekeeping at the hostel and B&B, it was completely manageable and our hours were well respected. I didn’t have a car and I managed to visit fascinating Grand Canyon, Sedona, places near Flagstaff by catching a ride with our guests or sharing a taxi with other volunteers. Overall, I would highly recommend this experience to anyone looking for a peaceful, enriching, scenic opportunity!

This was one of the best experiences of my life! Highly recommended for anyone who’s wanting to try something different, meet people from other countries and enjoy the stunning beauty of Arizona. Josh and Kylie are amazing hosts and made me feel at home throughout my stay. I worked on cleaning the houses, it was an easy and fair work. If you have the opportunity of rating a car, everything gets easier, but if you don’t, I recommend hitchhiking with other guests to visit the Grand Canyon, that’s what I did. They were all very nice and it was an awesome opportunity to get to know them better.

Josh & Kylie were the best hosts, I can say that we have made new friends staying here! Communication was great before and throughout our stay. Hours of work were laid out on a rota so it was easy to see what you needed to complete and you will have support if you need. We stayed in the hostel as there wasn't too many guests staying, this allowed us to interact with different guests each day. The beds and dorms are comfy, clean and as a same sex couple, we felt safe. We would stay here as guests to both the Hostel & the Air B&B.
I recommend this experience to anyone!
