Guesthouse Akicafe Inn
Our guesthouse is located just a 3 minute walk from Hiroshima JR station, where you can enjoy a homey, relaxing atmosphere. Not only just cozy to stay, it is also very convenient for our volunteers to explore the city with the best location to reach many places.
Our staff are basically Japanese and Taiwanese. Volunteers with us can expect a multi-language and friendly environment to work, live, and share with many friends.

It was an amazing experience. Fumi-san and everyone working there were super nice, and we shared nice moments together. It really felt like my second home, so thank you very much!
It is also a good opportunity to practice and learn japanese :)

Akicafe it's such a modern and clean hostel you will love to pass your time in here.
The common areas permites you also to hang until late at night and meeting guest and travellers its always amazing.
Ryokosan and fumi san are amazing leaders and they are so welcoming and carefull about your need and questions.
Highly reccomended!

I am just to lucky to have had this wonderful experience at Akicafe! The best guesthouse I've stayed at, with the most wonderful people 💜 Even though it's been only 2 weeks, every day was precious and fun.

This was my first worldpackers or volunteer experience in general, and going into it I was extremely nervous. However, it ended up being a really wonderful experience and I’m so happy I did it. The hostel itself is not only well maintained and clean, but the downstairs area gives you a great opportunity to meet so many people from around the world. The work can be a bit overwhelming at first, but Ryoko-san is extremely patient and is always willing to help or explain something again. By the end, work became kind of relaxing. If you’re thinking about applying, do it! It’s so much fun.
