Heartland Collective

We are building a dream here! Every year it gets better and better. We are co-creating a new lifestyle rich life experience. We are slowly becoming an amazing Retreat destination. Depending on the role you choose we will teach you various things, but everyone will learn the basics of how to grow food, and we will all enjoy it together.

What's happening in 2024?

The concept of Heartland is to explore living life 3.0 to creating true sustainability.

We are running a "Glamping Retreat" while we are also in the build phase of our bigger vision.

The more people we have the more focused various roles can be. There are many roles to fill. We need to do the work and we want to capture the story and share it with the world...

Hospitality work to support the Glamping Retreat, beautifying the site and preparing a healing center.

Social Media - We want to capture all the magic happening here. We are looking for PRO's. We have posting schedules to follow, and posting schedules to create and lots of assets for you to use as well as the opportunity to capture daily what's happening and how awesome this place is. We have specific posting methods that we follow and look forward to teaching media folks the methods we use.

Co-Create Magic & Help build the Dream - This is our general support role. We build this place and support all the things needed to maintain an amazing place to thrive from!

In addition to the required work hours we have short daily "check-in" meetings and one longer weekly "Fika" meeting (people's favorite) to go over all the happenings at Heartland and to connect with eachother. We also have one weekly group cleaning task called "Zim-Zam" where we make sure our shared kitchen, and shared community areas are clean and tidy for us to enjoy. This project is expensive to sustain, so due to all amenities available all volunteer positions must now pay $40/week for participating.

We are very positive and supportive to help everyone that comes here to grow as a person. The people who are attracted here are VERY amazing people. We truly love life. You will be treated with respect, love, and kindness. You will also be encouraged to grow into the person you were born to be. My time at Heartland Collective was truly special. It allowed me to connect deeply with myself and my spiritual practices, all in an inspiring space that was perfect for writing. The amazing library brought me so much joy, opening new doors to self-discovery ♥. I also learned about community living, healthy eating, and improved my English, all while surrounded by incredible people. Anders is an amazing person, and the entire team is just wonderful! Heartfelt thanks to all of you for your warmth and the meaningful conversations I’ll carry in my heart. An unforgettable experience!

My stay at Heartland was very enriching and wonderful. I learned to grow organic food, participated in construction and maintenance, and focused on developing the community website. I came to practice my English and chose this place because of its connection with nature, but I also found people passionate about making the world a better place who became my friends. Thank you; Anders, Jessica, Brayan, Tina, and Shama, for helping me improve my English and for everything we shared. I will miss the trips to the lake, preparing delicious Mexican food, and the tranquility of the place.

My experience at Heartland was very fulfilling. The landscape is spectacular, with direct access to a beautiful lake and dreamy sunsets. I met wonderful people with whom I had very enriching conversations. I am very grateful for their hospitality and all that I was able to learn about living sustainably but with many comforts of the modern world. I am proud to have been able to improve their website and do my part in this project.
Thankyou very much!

It’s a project with great potential and sustainable impact, allowing one to disconnect from everything to connect with nature. Anders is a wonderful person; we had many good moments full of laughter and adventures. It’s a very friendly community 💚

By the way, it's not just you who you'll find there; you might also find the love of your visa during a weekend of dancing around the city, haha.
