The hosts, Carina and James, are welcoming and accommodating. They're always ready to lend a hand and make sure you get the most out of your days off. They reward a good work ethic with great benefits during your stay. They are knowledgeable on the best things to see and do and always have helpful advice. The girls are willful balls of fire who will no doubt steal your heart. I feel like I was truly immersed in Irish culture during my stay. Thank you Carina and James for everything!!

VERY POSITIVE EXPERIENCE! THANK YOU! James & Carina are truly sincere and genuine people. Since day 1 they always did their best to make my stay very pleasant. They accommodated my diet, my days off, and made sure I was happy. I learned a lot about traditional Irish culture & family values. Taking care of the kid(s) was very special in that I always shared lots of laughs with them. On my birthday, James & Carina sung me happy birthday and treated me like a family member. They even gave me a gift. I will always cherish this experience and grateful to them. I wish their family lots of joy.

My first Worldpackers experience and the best I had this year. The house was incredible, the family was super attentive and I felt at home throughout my stay. I would love to come back.
There is a lot of nature to discover, Ireland is beautiful.

My experience at Heathergrove was un-replaceable. I adjusted fairly quickly to the fun and boisterous mode of the house, and quickly grew to love the Duffy family.
The girls challenged my patience at times😂 but nothing a gentle request and a little love can’t help with.
Our tasks and adventures and walks through the fields to the cows were so meaningful and challenged me to remain present.
The hosts, James and Carina, were thoughtful and helpful in accommodating to meet the needs of myself and the other volunteers.
My time was unforgettable, and I’m so grateful.

Being our first Worldpackers experience, our time at the Duffy’s was better than we could have ever imagined! James and Carina and the girls from the first greeting, invite you into their home with open arms and make you feel apart of their family. Their generosity and encouragement towards exploring the neighbouring towns and Ireland make it possible to experience all Ireland has to offer. We are extremely grateful to have had the opportunity to meet the Duffy’s and will definitely be returning in the near future !
