Staying in Osaby means living with the nature. The scenery is amazing with several hiking trails in the surrounding nature reserve. Still you will live in a very social place made for meetings with interresting people. You will be part of starting up a unique and open minded social venue, and have the chance to make your own personal footprint. Artistic expressions welcome!
We treat our volonteers as family. Still we value moments of privacy for both ourselves and our volonteers. We attempt to live with the nature by sorting our waste, eating mainly vegetarian and ecological food, and minimizing consumption. We re-use old building materials in innovative ways to make this historic place grow in an organic way. Please bare in mind that we have so much to do at the mansion and in the real life in general so we are slow at answering messages such as applications on Worldpackers. Please give us a few days to answer - or if it's urgent look up our phone number and give us a call.

Nils, Helle y su familia son geniales. Ellos nos hicieron sentir siempre como en casa, en confianza y muy bien acogidos.
El lugar es precioso, la comida deliciosa, la compañía muy buena al igual que la hospitalidad.
Se cumplió con todo lo que el aviso decía.
Quizás un aspecto a mejorar es la comunicación, en este sentido tener más claridad al comienzo del día las tareas a realizar y las responsabilidades de cada cuál. Sin embargo, se agradece la apertura a la comunicación y la flexibilidad.

It was a wonderful experience. I spent 3 weeks here and everything was perfect. Nils, Helle and all the family are amazing, open minded and always very kind. It was fantastic to work with them and feel the love and passion they have for their project. Furthermore, the workplace is beautiful, it feels like being in a fairy tale and the surrounding nature is breathtaking. It's a little piece of paradise.
The work required is fair and not difficult. Accommodation for volunteers is clean and very confortable. I recommend it to anyone who wants to spend time immersed in nature :)

The experience at Herrgård the Luxe was wonderful!!💫. I spent days that will be unforgettable. Nils, Hellen, their children and the staff are warm and very friendly. Oda, the eldest daughter is adorable, and Nils's mom is amazing. They always make you feel like family. Herrgård is a really beautiful place surrounded by a nature reserve and a lake. Were days being very in touch whit nature that I'll never forget🌻🪻🌷🌺🌾. Seeing the sky with thousands of stars at night is exciting🌠.

My experience was very positive. I felt warmly welcomed and respected by the hosts and the team. The agreed-upon hours and tasks were respected and fulfilled. My host provided comfortable living and sleeping arrangements on their property. I learned a lot during my stay and had a great time exploring and enjoying the lakes and forests. Totally recommended.
