Via our Homestay Program with host families anywhere in Spain I can try to find you a wonderful place to live for a few months (minimum 1 month). IMPORTANT! you MUST be a NATIVE ENGLISH Speaker of the US, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia or New Zealand or AT LEAST have a very HIGH LEVEL of the English language. Host families in Spain will host you in exchange for 2h of English tutoring to the children in the house, 4 times a week, Mo, Tue, Wed and Thursday. In exchange for that you will have your own room and free meals (the free meals are only included if you have them at home, meals at restaurants are NOT included). The families are carefully selected by me and are either my friends, friends of my friends, my relatives or relatives of my relatives. You will be in total safety as well. If you are interested the first thing we need to do is see each other via videocall via WhatsApp, so I can carry out an interview with you. There is a Finders Fee, only payable AFTER you meet your host family via WhatsApp videocall and once both parties have agreed the period of the homestay which should be at least 1 month, and can run up to 9 months. The fee is 250 euros for a Homestay of a maximum of three months. The length depends on you and on the family. You will be hosted for free and free meals after all. Please check our website: www.homestaysinspain.com for more information. But please DO contact me via Worldpackers first.
THIS IS FOR NATIVE ENGLISH SPEAKERS ONLY. OR AT LEAST PEOPLE WITH A VERY HIGH LEVEL OF ENGLISH. Volunteers will be treated just like another member of the family. No curfews. Freedom to travel. No house chores. This is NOT an Au Pair Job. The family wants you to be their window to the English Speaking world!
10 out of 10 would HIGHLY RECOMMEND! This homestay experience was absolutely amazing. From the beginning, Nino, the homestay coordinator was very kind and organized. He was up front and communicated effectively. I couldn’t have been placed with a better family. They were sooo much fun and the meals were amazing. Not only did the family learn a ton of English, I also learned a lot of Spanish and about how genuine human beings can be.

Nino was gem and helpful in finding a host family for me. He also helped me during the visa process and was in constant touch.
The family he connected with me was the best thing that has happened to me so far. Such a nice experience and learning.
Definitely recommend Nino.

I loved the experience of Homestay Exchange. I got placed with a really nice family outside the center of Madrid who were more than welcoming and accommodating. Nino was professional and quick to respond. Even though this opportunity seems too good to be true, it is everything it is said to be. Two hours of english conversation and you get the rest of the day to yourself. Highly recommend!
