Dulut is a great city by the beautiful lake Superior, we loved staying there! We got the chance to d all of the North Shore, wich is full of beautiful landscapes and it is must for everyone who enjoys nature. Staying in the Hostel du Nord was awesome, everyone there is really friendly and Rob was a great host, always willing to help us with whatever we needed . Definily recomend this experience to everyone!

We had a wonderful time in Duluth with the hostel du nord family! The city, even being small, it’s beautiful and full of fun activities and places to go. I believe in the summer must be even better! The hostel staff was awesome - as the hostel itself. Bob is a great host, always full of energy to make things work. The tasks were really easy and cool, and we had a great time helping with the projects in the Art Annex, making that place even more special! Thanks, Bob and all the staff 🫶🏼 It was a great first experience and we recommend to everyone (:

Volunteer Bob at Hostel Du Nord was a very great experience. It was just my first traveler experience and I love it. Thanks to Bob for great opportunity and great experience visiting Duluth.

This was my best worldpackers experience so far. Bob was a very kind and present boss. The expectations were clearly lined out. The work was pretty easy and there was plenty of time to explore. I was introduced to sauna culture. It's definitely something I would love to get into. The hostel was nice and cozy. There even is a designated area to do some painting. I felt welcomed since day one and by the time it was time for me to leave, I didn't want to.
Bob is very patient and understanding and easily the BEST boss I've ever had. I look forward to going back some day.

Working at Hostel du Nord was a great experience. Bob is very chill and was open to give me responsibilities necessary for my progress. The city can be a bit too slow now that is getting cold but the scenery of the national parks are stunning.
