This is a small farm in a beautiful location with plenty of learning opportunities. Kona Hawaii is one of the most expensive cities in America to visit. We offer an opportunity for travelers to be able to afford this destination and its beauty.
We have acquired this property 10 years ago and have been committed to developing it since. As we grow older we find the need for more help. We believe that we are kind and generous which we attempt to extend to everyone.

As a first Worldpackers experience, we couldn't have dreamed better. Michelle and Eric are two fantastic person, everything was absolutely perfect : the accommodation was great, Michelle cooked for us morning and evening and it was excellent, we had a truck at disposition to visit the island, which is heavenly... We met amazing people there who are now good friends and we are so grateful to Michelle and Eric for giving us this chance. At the work level, it was not easy every day but we knew why we came, and taking care of this magnificent garden was a pleasure. Mahalo, we miss you already !!!

My stay with Michelle was amazing. What she provides is unlike anything else and I truly believe that she must have one of the best experiences on World-packers.
The days could be long and there are rules to follow, but what you get in return is 100% worth it. The meals provided were always delicious and you get access to a truck which makes your time in Hawaii even better.
I'm extremely grateful to have had the opportunity to stay at The House of Kona. I met amazing people who I will remain friends with for years to come. I hope to be back again one day.

I do not have enough words to describe how great this month was for me ! Michelle is an amazing host, you just have to follow the rules which are simply common sense :) Even if work could get tiring sometimes I was surrounded by great people , another volunteers that made all the tiredness go away in a second 😀 We also could use the truck for which I am soooo grateful! :3
I learnt so much not only about the island but also about myself during this stay and it opened my eyes on many perspectives. This is why I am so grateful for this experience. Thank you , Michelle , Eric and Makale 🌸☺️

Michelle and Eric are amazing hosts! This entire month was a dream, I couldn’t have asked for a better first experience with Worldpackers! I can’t say enough positive things about my stay or thank you both enough! I am so grateful to have found this opportunity. Michelle made breakfast everyday and dinner on weekdays, her food was always great, she went above & beyond for us! Michelle also washed our laundry weekly, which was much appreciated! I also had access to a truck which was amazing! Thank you both so much for welcoming me into your beautiful home and showing me all around the island!
