We live in a stunningly beautiful area. We have a clean and beautiful place to work and play. We are elders with years of experience and we would love to share our skills with others of like minds.

Kate grows most of the herbal ingredients that she uses on her property. She distills the plant waters (hydrosols) that she uses in place of water in her products. Kate has been biodynamic gardening (award winning) for over 45 years. Both Kate and Rick are proponents of eating as locally as possible and they produce a fair amount of food on their homestead. They use home remedies and good nutrition to maintain their good health. Kate is an artist at heart. She teaches and hosts art/writing/healing retreats at Hunter Moon Homestead. Both Kate and Rick have a daily spiritual practice (contemplative), that keeps them grounded and practicing Bhakti. Currently we have 3 paid staff. Steven helps me in the garden, Tanner helps Rick mow the acres of hay/grass, and Marcie helps me in the apothecary. Rick has been a master carpenter since 1976. He has worked on multi million dollar projects both commercial and residential. He is a quiet and humble human, with joy in his heart. We would like to see most of the major projects finished here so that Rick can do fun things with his time like practicing guitar and piano and making furniture in the future shop. Both Rick and Kate take pride in creating and maintaining a beautiful homestead.
