ITH Mission Beach Backpackers Hostel
We are a global family of travelers at ITH. Our Mission Beach Hostel is the ideal location if you want to be by the beach in and nice and renovated facility.
Staff will be treated like family. When you join ITH, you will be welcomed into our global community. We offer breakfast and have a staff dinner each night.

Mission Beach is a very chill place to stay
They are 1 minute walk from the beach and is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the weather and the nature.
I can only thanks the manager Bruno for receiving me and make me fell home for this few months

This volunteer is definitely the definition of home! You feel like in a family; the hostel is very clean, people are amazing, the managers do everything to make you feel welcome, the meals are great! Perfect location, and you get the chance to meet travelers from all around the world! Besides all, San Diego is perfect. Great place for digital nomads!

If you’re on the fence…. DO IT! Incredibly welcoming, warm family oriented environment where I truly felt as though i was coming home at the end of every night out. If you’re looking for a little bit of love and family feel as opposed to consistent party, this hostel is a good choice.
Simple & rewarding work, clear communication. Location is safe, 30 seconds from the ocean, and public transportation is very easy to maneuver in this part of San Diego. I’ve made memories here that I will remember for a very long time. GM Bruno is the type of person I think everyone needs in their lives 🤙🏼🤍

My experience in Mission Beach has been really incredible! This was my first experience volunteering in a hostel and it has been better than what I thought. Bruno is an incredible person and manager and everyone here becomes more than friends, a family that shares experiences and dinners together. This places feels like home(:
