I had a great two weeks with Monique, Gérard and all the animals. They are very kind people, always making sure you're doing fine, and they like to be social. If you want to improve your french it's the perfect place. The meals were fantastic and ofcourse the garden an their home is beautiful. I loved all the animals around the house; the dog, cats, a lot of peacocks, a swan, geese, an otter (I think). The work in the garden is different every day. Sometimes a bit harder, sometimes easy, but the instructions and the schedule was always fair and clear. I had a wonderful experience!

It was an incredible experience! I had the chance to practice my French with locals, explore beautiful places, enjoy delicious food, and immerse myself in nature while working with them. Gérard and Monique truly made me feel at home!

One of the best experiences in my life. I absolutely loved my stay here, the botanical garden is an absolutely stunning property and Monique and Gerald are extremely kind, I felt very welcome and as if I came to my own grandparents. I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to experience French culture and life in the countryside. I would highly recommend this to everyone!!

I had a wonderful time here. I was touched by their kindness and beauty. It was like returning to my grandparents. I didn't expect it to be this good but they really made me feel happy to be born as a human being. I recommend it to everyone. It's a lovely place

It was an honor to work and live with Gerard and Monique. I genuinely could not have asked for better hosts and a better experience. I went to better my French, and it was a truly immersive experience--fully helped by their patience with me. They were so kind and generous in welcoming me into their home. I did not feel out of place at all! Meals were delicious and fresh; conversations were rich; they gave me tours of major sites in the area while also offering to drive and pick me up from bus/train stations to aid my solo travel; and much more. All in all, I felt incredibly well taken care of.
