La Ferme Le Couy

We don't want to force anyone to do anything. We give you your space and we can certainly learn a lot from each other. We have many different animals, a lot of space and always changing tasks to do, so it won't get boring at Le Couy!

We are very peaceful, nature- and animal-lovers. We don't like violence! Our life is structured through the farm, so we get up and take breaks together. Of course, you can have the weekends free, so you can do what you like. If you have a driver's license and you are a trustworthy driver, you can get a car from us. We also have bikes and bus or train stations are not far away. In the evening we normally eat together and often chat next to the fire, listen to music together or sometimes spend our evenings in privacy. Right now, a second child was born in our community. So we are searching as well people how are interested in Au-Pair, aupair, housekeeping, babysitting, house care, childcare . Merci

Hi there! Iguess if you’re reading this is because you’re planning to go to Le Couy, or you’re thinking about it, so I’m here to tell you, please do it.
I can’t describe how awesome it was to spend that month in the farm. This was my third volunteer experience and so far it’s been the best one. You’re gonna learn many many different things every single day, you’re gonna feel safe with them cause they all are amazing people. Dominik is so funny, Anousha is really sweet, Malte is really committed with his plants and also was always making sure we were enjoying our time in the farm :))

An incredibly kind and welcoming community. The owners of the farm take you in and make sure you’re as comfortable as possible. I cannot say enough about them, they are absolutely amazing people. There were people that came and went, but they were all just as nice to be around. The work load is easy enough, easy tasks, but physical which is expected for a farm. I cant complain though because I was allowed enough time to rest and everyone is very understanding about that. A wonderful atmosphere, great food, lots happening during the summer, just the best time. Also a gorgeous chunk of land!

La Ferme Le Couy is the perfect place to go to if you want to learn about sustainable farming, connect with nature and hang out with amazing people. Anousha and Dominik deserve every help they can get and are truly amazing and welcoming people. At the and of my stay it really felt like there wasn't any other way but to come back and join in on their vision for their farm and a brighter future. I strongly recommend coming here, bringing a friend and spending a wonderful time looking at the beautiful landscape!

This experience was life changing for me as I’m very used to life in a big city and this is the complete opposite. The community is extremely friendly and welcoming, I always felt comfortable around them. There are plenty of tasks to help them with, so you never get bored. The children are lovely, as well as the animals. Food was super good and in general I loved my time in the farm! No complains at all, I’m extremely grateful for their acceptance and friendship!

Dominik allows such calm and comfort at his farm, while also encouraging a range of fun and worthwhile tasks. I loved learning about organic farming, and here you have the opportunity to take from the soil and taste the end product! You’ll never tire of hanging out with the many animals, either.

Here, you can really make yourself at home. Everyone shares the space, we had many lovely dinners and movie nights together (and football… looots of football… you’re welcome guys haha).

Dom and Ole are great people to spend time with, it’s rare you find such jolly Germans! Thank you for having me ❤️
