Our host wasn’t there when we arrived and left his teenage son in charge of the volunteers for like a week he would follow us around and complain about the quality of work we’re doing and he skipped feedings us several meals the place was very dirty upon arrival as well

I had a great time at Lagona Loft in Dahab. The work hours were respected and Ahmed was flexible about shift times/days off. The food, accommodation, and cleaning supplies were simple, but I felt comfortable the whole time. Ahmed was very welcoming and helpful and even took me diving and hiking as well as arranged for me to spend a night at the place in Giza! Overall, I definitely enjoyed my experience here.

Dahab es un lugar hermoso y con este voluntariado lo podrás hacer. Ahmed (Thomas) es muy buen anfitrión. El hostal está a unos 20 minutos del centro caminando. El trabajo comienza a las 8.30 am (desayunando) hasta as 15 hrs (luego almuerzas). Es un sitio gigante y lo que más harás será housekeeping, por lo que si vas sol@ puede ser muy agotador. Hay 5 mini edificios que no están en el mismo sitio. Ahmed siempre estará disponible para ti, es muy amable y te ayudará en lo que necesites. Recomiendo este lugar pero con más voluntari@s para ayudar. Gracias por todo Ahmed y a tu familia!!

My stay in Dahab was a very pleasant experience, from the first moment I was well received. The host, his family and the other members were always very kind and patient with me. The activities were simple and the food delicious. The sea is the spirit of this place and the city is very calm and beautiful.
