Not only are we located at the heart of London but we are very close to all the most famous tourist sites and they are all within a walking distance from each other. You will get to explore London without the hassle of travel. With fourteen hostels across the city, this is the perfect place to start your new adventure. For 80 years, we have provided young people and students long-term, co-living accommodation they love, and can afford. Here, you can familiarise yourself, socialise and decide whether or not to make London your permanent home.
The staff are very friendly and hospitable. At our place you wont feel lost have a diverse team from all corners of the world, always ready to welcome you and ensure you are part of the family. LHA was my first volunteering experience and it was great! The place is more like a guest house, so there isn’t a common area and you’ll talk more to the other volunteers.
That said, my tasks were easy and I didn’t have any trouble with that. The receptionists, assist manager and manager were great with me whenever I had some doubt or needed something.
The guest are fine in general. There are some that see you as their employee at first, but after some time they smooth 😅 others are extremely kind. I ended up actually meeting and having insightful conversations with a few of them.

Laurrent, the manager is a really nice person! And so are the rest of the staff!
The hostel is very well located, in Hydepark! And the hostel facilities are amwesome.
We had amazng food everyday and the rooms are also really nice.
I recommend to someone who would like to volunteer in London
The tasks are easy and the hhours respected as agreed :)

As pessoas que fazem parte da chefia, são um tanto quanto que desencontrados nas informações. muita gente mandando e eu, em particular, fiquei um pouco perdida no início. Mas depois as coisas se organizaram e deu tudo certo! Laurent é um homem especial. Atuante!! Gostei da experiência!!

Good experience overall. I found a good team that made a difference. A bit tiring doing the same job for a month but serving dinner to the residents I had no complaints (good job seeing everyone). The room was comfortable, meals included which is a real plus in London!
