We have been volunteers and hosting volunteers for over 10 years. You can enjoy all the comforts of staying at a guest house with the benefits of living with a family.
Our team is our family, we work, socialize and eat together - most live on site and we are used to sharing our space and life with guests who often become part of our family.

My stay at Life's a Beach was absolutely incredible! The staff were extremely welcoming and made us feel right at home throughout our time there. Steve and Gavin were fantastic hosts, always ensuring we had everything we needed. If you're considering coming here, don't hesitate—this is an experience you don't want to miss! We loved both the accommodation and the wonderful people we met during our stay, and we would love to return one day. I can't recommend this place highly enough!

Amazing experience! Steve (the other owner) was the best, super friendly and helpful, showing me the ropes. Really amazing place, as well with it being right off the beach so daily swims and having amazing food and great people with really fun activities to run while helping out there. I've done a few volly things so far around SE Asia and this was my favorite experience. I couldn't recommend it enough :)

Highly reccomend! From the moment I arrived, Steve and Gavin made me feel like part of the family. They gave me the first day off so I could rest and get a feel of the hostel. My role involved preparing drinks for hostel guests and organizing fun activities after dinner. If you're a social person who likes making sure everyone is having fun then this is the perfect opportunity for you. Leaving was incredibly bittersweet but I'll be back without a doubt!

My experience at Life’s a Beach was absolutely amazing! My favorite Worldpackers experience so far. I felt so welcomed by Gavin, Steve and the team. I spent two weeks enjoying the beautiful location, eating good food, socializing with guests and other workers. I also got to explore the area through boat trips to an Island and tours to the city and some landmarks. The work of running social events is fun and Gavin and Steve are supportive, flexible and easygoing. I definitely recommend this experience to anyone who is outgoing, social, and is looking for a home away from home feel. Best place!
