Welcome to our tranquil retreat and eco-organic farm! My name is Kamal Nepal, the founder, owner, and operator of this peaceful haven. At 35, I live here with my family, providing a place where guests can reconnect with nature, relax, and enjoy the simplicity of life.
Discover Authentic Farm Living :
For those seeking a comfortable, affordable stay without volunteer commitments, we offer accommodations at $16 USD per day. This includes three organic vegetarian or vegan meals, tea, drinking water, fresh milk, Wi-Fi, a private room, daily yoga/meditation, a hot shower, heating in colder months, and more. We host up to ten travelers at a time, creating an intimate, respectful environment for nature lovers.
About Our Farm and Location :
Nestled 44 km southeast of Kathmandu at 2100m elevation, our farm rests on the Mahabharat mountain range. Surrounded by lush forests and rare flowers, it’s a serene escape with breathtaking 180-degree views of the Himalayas on clear days, featuring peaks like Mount Everest, Annapurna, Langtang, and many others.

Private Rooms with Wi-Fi, electricity, and warm showers, plus a campfire in the colder months
Fresh Spring Water and organic, vegetarian meals
Yoga & Meditation Spaces (Instructors may not always be available.), Mountain hikes, and sunrise, sunset and Himalaya views
Peaceful Atmosphere perfect for meditation, reflection, and unwinding in nature
Activities & Volunteer Opportunities
We invite volunteers to join us in various roles:
1. Farm Work: Participate in planting, harvesting, weeding, milking, and other daily farm activities.
2. Photography & Web Development: Capture our farm’s beauty and assist with website updates.
3. Online Marketing: Promote our retreat, homestay, and farm online.
4. Yoga Instruction: Certified yoga instructors are welcome to lead classes.
5.Social Media Support: Volunteers are needed to keep our online presence vibrant with photography, video, and SEO.
6. Video Production: Help us create content for our YouTube channel.
Volunteer Rate: $10 USD/day (3–5 hours of work, 5 days a week)
Non-Volunteer Rate: $16 USD/day
Additional Options:
- Hiking/Trekking at $10 USD per day,
- Yoga/Meditation on a donation basis.
Out of respect for the community, please avoid bringing illegal substances to the farm. Responsible alcohol consumption and tobacco use are acceptable.

Special Programs, Events & Rate :
- Mahabharata Hike: $10 USD per day
- Full Moon Retreat: Monthly full-moon camping at 3000m with a 360-degree view. Includes a tent, sleeping bag, campfire, dinner, breakfast, and drinking water for $25 per night.
- Guided Trekking: Various trekking routes across Nepal, including practice sessions up to 3000m to prepare for altitude.
- Camping: Camping at 3000m with Himalayan views for $20 USD per night.
Our Future Plans:
Our philosophy, "Back to Nature," guides every part of our lives here. We focus on growing chemical-free products and offer natural healing through yoga, meditation, and herbal remedies. Our tradition of peaceful living and sustainable agriculture emphasizes harmony with nature. For this we are planning to start a donation based retreat service in the near future. You can help us realize our plan.
How to get us :
Public Bus: From Kathmandu (Ratna Park/ In front of bir Hospital) to Panauti, then Dhunkharka (approx. 3 hours). Contact us for guidance once you reach Dhunkharka.
Taxi: Available from Kathmandu for approximately 3500–4500 NPR.
Private Pickup: We can arrange airport pickup for $55 USD.
