I had an incredible experience. The family was absolutely wonderful, warm, kindhearted, welcoming, and just all around perfect. They went above and beyond to ensure I felt comfortable and had a memorable time. They even invited me to join them at a wedding, which was such a thoughtful gesture. My volunteering experience was equally rewarding, I worked at a disability center where everyone was so generous and compassionate. I met amazing people and made lasting friendships. Nepal will always hold a special place in my heart.

My experience with Nidhi Shakti and Pradip Sapkota was one of the most rewarding of my life. The organization afforded me the opportunity to volunteer at the Nepal Disabled Association (NDA) at the Khagendra New Life Centre, and support the residents and the staff with every task that was required, which was very fulfilling. Pradip and my host family have become true family. I love them and am thankful for welcoming me into every facet of their lives and exposing me to Nepal during my free time. Could not ask for a more rewarding 4 weeks.

My stay was interesting… the family was lovely and food amazing! The volunteering experience was not expected, I felt like I could have helped more but was told to sit and chat with patients in the disability centre. Pradip was sometimes over familiar but was happy for me to leave early and explore more of Nepal.

It has been a wonderful experience in every way. I have known all the projects in which the Pradip organization works to improve the lives of people with cancer here in Nepal. These 15 days have only been the beginning of a long collaboration between us. I hope to return. Thanks to the entire Nidhi Shakti HPC team and especially to Pradip, a great person and fantastic ambassador of his country. Thanks with all my heart. Namaste
