Nomadic presented by The Colony

The Resort Is located in Jacumba , California about an hour east of San Diego. The property consists of 160 acres located in the high desert (imagine Joshua Tree, but with epic rock formations!). The grounds currently include the following: ~100 residential units, ~25 rental units, hundreds of campsites/RV sites, a clubhouse with bar/cafe, one outdoor pool, one indoor pool(heated), a gym, a conference room, tennis courts, an abandoned graffiti train, countless hiking trails/rock formations and much, much more!

We have tons of exciting things in the works on the property and are looking for volunteers to help accomplish some of these goals. First, let us provide a little more information about our current projects and the ultimate vision for the space. We recently bought the space back in February as a fully operating clothing optional resort. Since then we have began to give the space a complete facelift and have started utilizing the space for medium to large events such as music festivals and wellness retreats (most recent festival was epic!). In addition to this we are currently building a boho-oasis style hostel on the property that is going to be stunning when it is finished!

As you can imagine there is a lot in going on here in the property and we are looking for volunteers who can come and not only create a good vibe on the property, but also contribute to the vision with various skills sets. We will always treat our volunteers with the same respect that we treat each other and also with our guests. Volunteers are expected to act professionally when helping and to be respectful at all times when on the property.

DO NOT GO HERE! This account is run by a sexual predator. He is simply bringing volunteers here to take advantage of them. Kevin preaches family and love, but he is a master manipulator. This account is not even supposed to be active, and he is not even allowed to have volunteers. He uses content from years ago to bring people in, and will make you work at all hours, no days off. None of the stuff listed on this page is true!!!

It was a great experience! Kecho was the best, he provided so much and honestly opened my eyes. The people were amazing, absolutely welcoming and friendly. I’d love to go there again!

Ke-Cho is very flexible and friendly! Definitely need to be able to speak up if you need something, whether it's related to a task or not, and be persistent to make sure things get followed through on because there's a lot going on there. Ke-Cho and the front desk were nothing but helpful and kind through my time there when I would ask though, and Augie is a star with the coffee. The stars and sunsets were definitely highlights of my days there.

I had the best time staying at Nomadic! I had no idea until I got there that it was formerly clothing optional. But like a week before I got there it was made clothing mandatory (fun fact) anyways…Kecho was the best boss with the cutest pup! I mainly helped with setting up things for events/organizing, some artistic improvements and a little social media stuff. I’d definitely recommend if you’re an artist or someone that likes wellness and nature!
