I had an amazing experience at Kadir’s. Eugene was a great climbing teacher to work with and a kind man. I felt that the volunteer experience was very rewarding and the community surrounding this place is one-of-a-kind.

This was by far one of my favorite traveling experiences. Eugene is a very patient and thorough guide. I came with less experience but felt very confident in the work required of me. I felt encouraged to improve my climbing and also just to enjoy Olympos. I miss it already and hope for the chance to come back again!!

Eugene was amazing and the climbing was so good. I came with less experience and this was a great way to massively improve my climbing skills. I got sick during my stay and Eugene was so lovely and very understanding. It felt very relaxed and even when I got things a bit wrong I felt like I was encouraged to learn how to improve rather than being told off. I have no complaints about the climbing and Eugene as a host. However, the hostel had some issues with the poor treatment of volunteers working in the working in the restaurant area, I also would not want to be here without other volunteers.

I worked with Eugene in kadirstreehouses.
Eugene is a strict but great teacher when it comes to sports climbing. The way he teaches you makes you never forget the experience. I had a great time with him and also the other volunteers. My time was filled with activities and action and I loved it.
The rooms can be better or worse … in German we say: man ist sein Glückes Schmied, so please just speak to the manager if you need anything!
Eugene might be strict as I said but as long as you can stay focused at work he can be one of the best friends and mentors and maybe your guides you ever had :)

I feel really grateful for this experience at Olympos. The work (which included belaying, carrying equipment and cleaning routes) didn’t feel like work. I learned so much from Eugene and he also gave me the opportunity to improve my climbing. The natural landscapes of the place -including the climbing sites- are beautiful. There are more volunteers at the hostel and the whole team is fun and very friendly. I had so much fun and couldn’t recommend more this experience.
