Kadir Kaya, the founder of Kadir’s Tree houses, came to this area 31 years ago when there was no electricity. He lived like Robinson Crusoe his life and managed with many difficulties to bring the place to this day. Serving a few home guests 31 years ago, Kadir’s Tree houses are a facility that can serve 260 people today, with 100 Bungalows, 10 cabins and 4 crowded rooms.

I feel really grateful for this experience at Olympos. The work (which included belaying, carrying equipment and cleaning routes) didn’t feel like work. I learned so much from Eugene and he also gave me the opportunity to improve my climbing. The natural landscapes of the place -including the climbing sites- are beautiful. There are more volunteers at the hostel and the whole team is fun and very friendly. I had so much fun and couldn’t recommend more this experience.

It was a great experience to brush off some climbing fundamentals.
Eugene is thorough in his approach to instructing climbing and explains the safety components well.
The days were spent setting up top ropes, belaying clients, and sometimes helping out at the beach with a Kayak.
It was also really nice to get in a number of lead climbs on solid rock, with Eugene pushing me to work on a project… If you don’t have the basic climbing skills secure, I would recommend working with Eugene and Kadir’s Treehouse for a safer experience at the crag.

Highly recommend this experience for volunteering, this was my first experience and it was a great one. The team at Kadirs became like a family and we had so many great times together. Lots of fun belaying customers and going climbing. The hours of work and very fair and everything is very accessible (beach, crag, shops) from the location.

I showed up after climbing (almost exclusively indoor bouldering) for less than one year. I had an excellent experience working with Eugene. He was very professional and took time to ensure I understood what I would be responsible for. During my 3 weeks as a climbing volunteer I gained confidence in many aspects of outdoor toprope/sport climbing. I gained experience in belaying ~50 climbs, top roping at challenging grades, and my first 4 lead climbs which was an amazing experience. Had an absolute blast; would highly recommend. Также, отлично подходит для занятий русским.

Incredible time at kadirs! If you want to strengthen your climbing skills this is the place to be. I learned so much and had a blast. From climbing to making friends with the other volunteers. Wish I could have stayed longer.
