Ozzie Pozzie Backpackers YHA

We are a backpackers hostel in the vibrant town of Port Macquarie, which has gorgeous beaches where you can surf, chill at lovely cafes and visit our cute town center. It is also the home to the one and only koala hospital, which you can visit every day for free. Australia’s Billabong zoo is only 10km away.

The hostel is just a short distance from the town center, beaches, walking tracks, shops, restaurants etc. We are known for having a chilled and laid back working environment where everyone is treated as part of the family.

Life here gives you the chance to lead or take part in many activities such as surfing, kayaking, body boarding, coastal walks... But also heading to the pub for live music, nightly socials around the hostel and much more. You can just chill out next to the pool or relax in a hammock. There is something for everyone. We encourage our team to get involved and interact with backpackers and other guests in order to build a fun atmosphere.

Hi all, We're Mathilde and Sarah, two Frenchies who are so lucky to manage this beautiful hostel in Port Macquarie !
