What an amazing experience this was! We would like to thank everyone so much for the positive vibes, the care and dedication that everyone showed, especially to Anish, Maya, Nisha, teachers and amazing students. Also we'd like to thank the other volunteers as well, for the great company and food! What a great place, good healthy food, fresh air, surrounded by nature and sounds of the jungle, fireflies at night, especially for our first volunteering ever. In the end, words won't do justice, so I'll let the experience speak for for itself. Just go for it! We, recommend long term.

I spend 1 month at the school, it was summer time so we as volunteers were responsible to organize the summer camp. We had 1 class of 3 to 6 years old and 1 class of 6 to 8 years old to take care of. Organizing, creating crafts activities , games...We had 1 to 3 teachers in the class, they helped for translation. It was sometimes really challenging as we did not get too much feed back or help. It was a good experience, kids were amazing, full of joy.
The accomodation is in the school area, with 3 private rooms, kitchen and bathroom need a serious renovation. I was able to visit Kerala.

Volunteering at Poornodaya School exceeded all my expectations. The children were lovely, eager to learn and made every lesson a joy. Tailoring lessons to different age groups was a rewarding challenge. The vegan meals were surprisingly delicious, and the flexibility with shopping added freshness to our meals. The simple accommodation was a comfortable retreat after busy days. But what truly made it exceptional was the warm community of dedicated volunteers and supportive staff. My time there was truly unforgettable.
