Swanky Mint isn't just a hostel. This is a place with heart, soul, long history and the best people.
What used to be an old textile dye factory from the 19th century is now a vivid and unique hostel in the centre of Zagreb. Our modern industrial setup full of witty design solutions and playful colours is turning this place into a destination within a destination.
What makes our hostel special and always alive is our bar where the party never stops. Here you will show us your best dance moves while holding an exotic cocktail in your hand. No better way to meet the locals and other travellers!
Almost 20 people of the Swanky family are doing their best every day to make this place your home and your stay here an unforgettable experience. You will come as a guest but you will leave as a friend. The bar is really busy so that's make the job fun and easy. The staff is super nice and always willing to help you if you need something or if you just wanna know the coolest places around. The city is pretty nice too and safe. I enjoyed my nocturnal walks every night.
If you wanna have a chill time, meet people, go for a beer and taste good cocktails The Swanky is for you. Thanks for everything guys!

He disfrutado mucho mi estancia en Swanky,el equipo me ha tratado bien en todo momento y siempre me ayudaron en cualquier duda que surgía con mis tareas a realizar. Las actividades han sido claras y la comunicación siempre fluye bien, además de mi experiencia como voluntaria tmb en el hostal conocí a más viajeros y es fácil recorrer la ciudad, swanky está en el centro de la ciudad por lo que siempre

Swanky was amazing! Probably my favorite volunteer so far. The hostel was great and Zagreb is pretty. The job was easy and working at the bar was fun! I looooved everyone working there💕💕 and hopefully I’ll be back to visit soon.
I recommend for sure, it was a great experience :)

It was a good experience, the workers are really nice, and the job is easy, basically making beds, the communication with management is good. I think is a good place to meet new people, and the workers help me a lot and showed me the city.
The room is shared with one of the owners, the workers and the volunteers.
The city is really nice with lot of bars and restaurants, but I wouldn't say it has lot of things to see.
I would recommend the hostel if what your looking for is meet people, I met some really good friends,and enjoyed my time at swanky mint.

Overall, I really enjoyed my time in Zagreb. I met some really great people at swanky and had a lot of fun hanging out in the city. Keep in mind that Zagreb is not a big city, but it’s clean, walkable, and has some great parks, restaurants, and bars. the volunteer dorm isn’t the best. I had a very thin mattress, a messy roommate, and a gross bathroom. Id say living in the volunteer dorm is DOABLE, but not comfortable. The position says 5 hrs of work for 5 days, but i worked 7-9 hrs 5 days a week. In the end I’m very happy I came to swanky. I made really good friends and had a lot of fun in Zag
